About Gwen Gore
I offer a combination of accounting and software expertise, tax law and forensic accounting expertise and a personal understanding that comes from being part of the business community.
After 35 years with the government, I retired and decided to join the private sector. Ten years of this time was with the Social Security Administration as a Claims Representative and the last 25 years with the IRS in forensic auditing as a Revenue Agent and Supervisory Revenue Agent. My experience gives me a wide range of Social Security law, tax law, and accounting and auditing knowledge and skills. I have a BBA in Corporate Finance and am an Enrolled Agent, licensed to practice before the IRS. Enrolled Agents are the only federally-licensed tax practitioners who both specialize in taxation and have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. With these credentials, I offer tax return preparation, and also assistance with IRS audit and collection issues.
I am also a Certified QuickBooks Pro Advisor in all QuickBooks products, including Online, Point of Sale and Enterprise editions. In addition to QuickBooks services, I offer payroll services, budget planning, bill-paying, year-end tax preparation, and full or partial accounting services. For those who don’t have a business, but just need a personal finance manager, I can offer trusted services, including bill-paying, insurance/Medicare claims, independent trustee and managing accounts.
Gwen Gore, EA, Pensacola Florida, was a guest speaker at the all-women seminar “Educate, Enlighten and Empower” presented by Sacred Heart Hospital and Mainstay Financial. Gwen, a former IRS Revenue Agent and now in private practice as an EA, spoke about “What You Don’t Know About Taxes Can Hurt You”.
